Florence denies Community Bank variance request from stormwater rules
After a public hearing, the Florence Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously denied Community Bank's request for a variance from Section 404(A) of the storm water/rain water regulation (Ordinance No. 272) and adopted the written findings of Community Development Director Joel Sims.

Mayor Trey Gunn opened a public hearing March 17 on Community Bank's request for a variance from Section 404(A) of the storm water/rain water regulation (Ordinance No. 272) for a proposed development in the C-3 zoning district. Mr. Tim Pickett represented Community Bank and presented the request; City Engineer Tim Parker, City Attorney Bobby Lingold and Community Development Director Joel Sims offered professional opinions and written findings.
