Administration Committee forwards elected-officials salary schedule to County Board
The committee voted to send a resolution setting a new compensation schedule for the Sheriff and Clerk of Courts to the County Board, endorsing recommended increases of 8% for 2027 and 4% for 2028–2030; the resolution will appear on the regular County Board agenda.

The Administration Committee voted Feb. 12 to forward a resolution to the County Board that would set the elected-officials salary schedule for the Sheriff and Clerk of Courts. Human Resources Director Shelly Schultz told the committee the schedule must be set before the April 15, 2026 deadline and recommended an 8% increase for 2027 followed by 4% increases in 2028, 2029 and 2030.
