At its Jan. 6 meeting the Douglas County Planning & Zoning Committee approved a slate of conditional‑use permit renewals for nonmetallic‑mine operations. Renewals discussed and approved (motions carried) included permit #5902 (Charles Allen Jr./Charles & Beverly Allen), #7131 (Milestone Materials/Mathy Construction Co.), #15892 (Town of Wascott/Douglas County) and #16487 (Douglas County Highway Department/Douglas County).
