Negotiations between county negotiators and the Correctional Sergeant bargaining unit concluded with mutually agreed changes; the Nobles County Board approved the final contract on April 8. Because the bargaining unit was identified as essential, the contract provides retroactive pay effective January 1, 2025, according to the meeting minutes (motion to approve by Robert S. Demuth; second by Bob Paplow).
