The Cass County Planning Commission voted 7–0 on April 13 to recommend approval of a reclassification requested by Jason Smith affecting a 2.57‑acre parcel at 942 Logger Lane NW in Ponto Lake Township. Staff reported 85 mailed notices and one comment; the commission’s findings state no farmland will be converted and list surrounding parcel classifications. The motion was recorded as MS/P LaPorte/Woll.
