Commission approves Great Plains Development membership after presentation
After a presentation from Bob Webmore of Great Plains Development, the Pratt County commission approved a membership payment to the organization to support its loan and grant assistance programs for small communities.

Bob Webmore, executive co-director of Great Plains Development, told the commission the regional nonprofit helps small towns with grants and loan programs and serves as a local point of contact for Network Kansas companion funds and community development block grants. "If you have something or somebody asks you a question, it's there," Webmore said, describing the group's role in helping towns identify eligible funding and connect with banks.
