Servolution Network describes home‑revitalization impact in Parker County

Jason Maliewski, representing Servolution Network, told the Parker County Commissioners Court the group has completed 410 home revitalizations since 2015 and served 202 families in Parker County alone.
“We just finished our 19th Good Neighbors Blitz,” Maliewski said, describing work that ranges from foundation and roof repairs to wheelchair ramps and appliance replacement. He said the organization has a 35‑home waiting list, with 14 of those homes in Parker County.
Maliewski presented program metrics and estimated economic effects, saying the average finishing cost per house is about $45 to $60 thousand and that the group’s direct work translated in his calculation to “just south of $12,100,000,” with broader ‘halo‑effect’ estimates pushing the impact higher. He asked commissioners to raise awareness and consider partnerships or financial support; commissioners praised the volunteer network and cited local corporate sponsors such as Atmos Energy.
The court did not take a funding vote during the presentation but encouraged staff and commissioners to explore future collaboration and promoted Servolution’s October Good Neighbors Blitz dates.
