IT reports Exchange Online migration complete, network access control rollout underway

Chad Pierce, I.T., told the committee the help desk handled approximately 350 tickets for the reporting period and that the department has completed migration of county email to Exchange Online in the cloud. Pierce said "The I.T. Department is fully over on Exchange Online right now" and described a Network Access Control project that is more than 50% converted, designed to prevent unauthorized devices from accessing county network resources.
Pierce also reported the county’s digital signage work has been migrated to vendor Easy Signage and that documentation and standard operating procedures are in final phases, though procuring some insurance policies created a minor procurement delay that should be resolved by the end of June. The county has begun breaking out related expenditures into CIP budget lines for clearer tracking.
