Jerome County approves offsite immutable backups, website ADA work and IT assessment

McGregor said the website ADA work would make site content more accessible to blind and deaf users and described a prorated quote for the remainder of the year at $9,963.71; he added the vendor’s legal resources would be available if the county faced litigation over accessibility compliance. The Board also approved a mobile device management solution and an IT risk assessment to support ongoing security reviews, with an estimated six‑month assessment cost of about $3,000 plus monthly ongoing costs. Commissioner Crouch moved the package; Commissioner Watkins seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
