Board appoints Tom LaFave interim constable after Castellano resignation
After receiving Constable Castellano's resignation effective July 31, 2026, the board unanimously appointed Tom LaFave as interim constable to serve through the term ending the third Tuesday of April 2027; Trustee Rick Cermak moved the appointment and Trustee Paul Schroeder seconded.

President Roger Mellem opened the meeting at 2:00 PM and the board recorded receipt of Constable Castellano's resignation, effective July 31, 2026. Trustee Rick Cermak moved to appoint Tom LaFave as Interim Constable, and Trustee Paul Schroeder seconded the motion.
