IT highlights MFA grant award, AI chatbot pilot and shared-service work with Auburn
IT Director Tom Bunn told the committee the county received New York State MFA hardware tokens as one of 161 recipients under a $9M program, is piloting an internal Microsoft Copilot chatbot and has deployed Windows 11 to over 80% of endpoints while supporting a City of Auburn shared-service rollout.

Tom Bunn, IT Director, presented a multi-part update including help-desk performance, cybersecurity grants, AI pilots and shared-services work. January help-desk metrics showed 558 new support tickets with an 80% resolution rate and an average resolution time of 1.9 hours. Bunn said equipment removal and redeployment from the County Office Building were coordinated and copier pickups scheduled.
