The committee received an update on the DREAMS records migration project: approximately 94% of the project scope has been processed and migrated to the Laserfiche Cloud environment, with remaining work focused on older, fragile and non-uniform records that require additional handling. The presentation listed the overall project budget at $4 million and actual expenditures through FY2022-25 of $3,068,919.29.
County staff said internal records management and RRC operations will continue to administer the Laserfiche Cloud environment and to digitize paper record requests received from departments. The project is expected to reduce the physical storage footprint and to enable new electronic workflows across departments as older paper processes are replaced.
The committee logged the update; no procurement or contract action related to DREAMS was taken at this session.
