CSB reports contract extensions, coordinator resignation and plans for AOT funds
The director told the Alcohol & Substance Use Subcommittee that several opioid-settlement-funded contracts end in early March; the CSB approved one-year extensions for Nick's Ride, Breaking Barriers and CHAD's Prevention Program, the coordinator position has resigned and will be reposted, and the committee is developing an AOT funding plan.

The Cayuga County Alcohol & Substance Use Subcommittee received a director's report on Feb. 4, 2026, that included contract status, staffing changes and planning for AOT funding. The CSB noted several contracts funded through the original Opioid Settlement RFP will conclude in early March and approved one-year extensions for Nick's Ride, Breaking Barriers and CHAD's Prevention Program.
