The Cayuga County Alcohol & Substance Use Subcommittee received a director's report on Feb. 4, 2026, that included contract status, staffing changes and planning for AOT funding. The CSB noted several contracts funded through the original Opioid Settlement RFP will conclude in early March and approved one-year extensions for Nick's Ride, Breaking Barriers and CHAD's Prevention Program.
The director reported that the Coordinator of Substance Use Initiatives has resigned; the county will post the coordinator job on the county website as a Grant Assisted position and will also post a part-time peer position. Committee members were told staff are developing a plan for the use of AOT funding, but detailed allocations or timelines were not provided at this meeting.
