The Hemphill County Commissioners' Court voted on Nov. 15 to canvass the November 5, 2024 General Election returns as presented by County and District Clerk Sylvia Guerrero. Commissioner Nicholas Thomas moved to canvass the returns, and Commissioner Dale Schafer seconded; the motion "carried unopposed."
