Commissioners approve bridge testing contract, change order and multimillion-dollar paving awards
The board approved a contract with Bowser Morner for bridge testing, accepted a Parsons Excavating change order and pay request, and awarded the 2026 Asphalt Resurfacing Program to Gerken Paving ($4,467,466.60) and the Seal Coat Program to Ward Construction ($1,836,730.45).

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on April 28 approved multiple engineering and paving contracts. The board entered Contract 2026-44 with Bowser Morner for miscellaneous testing services for County Bridges G24.6 and 24A.9 (Resolution 2026-272). Commissioners also approved Change Order #1 to Parsons Excavatingincreasing that contract by $2,880 and approved Pay Request #1 for $41,093.28 on Ditch Improvement Project 2152 (Resolution 2026-274).
