The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on April 28 approved multiple engineering and paving contracts. The board entered Contract 2026-44 with Bowser Morner for miscellaneous testing services for County Bridges G24.6 and 24A.9 (Resolution 2026-272). Commissioners also approved Change Order #1 to Parsons Excavatingincreasing that contract by $2,880 and approved Pay Request #1 for $41,093.28 on Ditch Improvement Project 2152 (Resolution 2026-274).
The board accepted the county engineerFrank Onwellerrecommendation to award the 2026 Asphalt Resurfacing Program to Gerken Paving, Inc. for $4,467,466.60 (engineerestimate $4,146,250.00) and awarded the 2026 Seal Coat Program to Ward Construction Co. for $1,836,730.45 (Resolution 2026-275 and 2026-276). All motions recorded in the transcript passed by unanimous 3-0 votes.
