Karen Lauer was elected chair of the Iron County Human Services Board during the June 1, 2026 meeting after nominations were opened by staff member Cally Bucknell. "Motion by Haeger to nominate Karen Lauer as the Human Services Board Chair, 2nd by Rye," the minutes record; a subsequent motion to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot was made by Brandon Snyder and seconded by Rye.
