With offers and counteroffers circulating, Committee member S2 moved for a recess so county staff could confirm calculations; S7 seconded the motion and the board recessed at voice vote. After briefly caucusing, the board reconvened and participants discussed splitting the remaining 1% difference (producing a compromise around 73.5/26.5). A subsequent motion to adjourn was moved (S7) and seconded (S9) and passed by voice vote.
