Sheriff’s Office discusses shooting range and jail matters; range proposal tabled

Undersheriff Scott McCann and other Sheriff's Office staff came before commissioners to discuss proposed increases to the current shooting-range rates and a proposal to build a county shooting range at the Road & Bridge site.
McCann said he would investigate insurance requirements and options for lead disposal from ammunition. Hannah Fisher and Pake McNally also addressed jail-related items. Commissioners decided to table the discussion and revisit it at a subsequent meeting.
