Sewer district gets authorization to replace obsolete generator, advances multiple projects

Flat Branch Pump Station design changes and bid documents are being prepared, and Orchard/Wolf Island contract defects are being addressed under warranty. The Lewistown project received a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reimbursement of $149,831.
Schultz reported the Indian Trails RV Park expansion proposal would add about 60 sites; review is ongoing and the district warned sewer capacity could be a limiting factor depending on final plans. He said a 45-kW generator is inoperable and obsolete; the board authorized purchasing a Godwin emergency diesel pump as a replacement (motion carried). The minutes record the authorization and related resolution language under late-November agenda actions.
