Member Kristine Haataja reported the Board’s participation in CalBHBC activities and described recent advocacy priorities. She said local behavioral health boards are increasingly co-sponsoring legislation and funding requests. The Board supported funding for the California Peer-Run Warm Line, requested continued funding for the California Reducing Disparities Program, and agreed to co-sponsor AB 2324, which proposes behavioral-health-related training for youth in high school curricula.
