After reviewing a supplier traffic study and police chief comments highlighting sight-line and pedestrian recommendations, the board continued the public hearing on the 20 Groton Harbor Road site-plan and stormwater permit to Aug. 11 to allow preparation of a draft decision and minor design revisions.

The planning board reviewed a traffic study prepared by Vanessa & Associates for the proposed site at 20 Groton Harbor Road. The police chief summarized findings including daily volumes (approximately 3,900 vehicles per day on Groton Harbor Road) and peak-hour flow (about 290–330 vehicles per hour), and recommended access improvements, sight-line work, pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, and Transportation Demand Management (TDM) measures.
