Council approved a personnel restructuring at the Stoughton Opera House that eliminates the House Manager position and creates an Assistant Director role with an $80,000 exempt salary. Director Gillingham told the council that the Friends of the Opera House (SOWFA) committed $20,000 annually for three years (2026-2028) specifically to underwrite the new position's salary and benefits; staff said they expect to recruit midyear and anticipated a small 2027 budget shortfall to be managed in future budgets.
