Council debated whether economic development work should be handled by a city committee subject to Open Meeting Law, held at city-designated locations and including at least one council member, or by a non-city commission with broader community membership and no residency requirement. TJ Byrne moved to dissolve the Economic Development Committee; Will Butler seconded and the council approved the motion unanimously.
