Near the close of the floor period Senator Clemish stated, 'Madam president, senate republicans will caucus upon the conclusion of the state government committee.' The presiding officer then called for a motion to recess 'until conclusion of the state government committee.' Senators responded with a voice vote; the chair said 'The motion prevails' and the Senate recessed.
