The board approved a benefit policy for the county’s new 9‑1‑1 Systems Manager/CenCom Supervisor and Sheriff Walker introduced the new hire, Karen Clevenger, who was present at the meeting. On a later motion, the board approved an intergovernmental agreement among DeWitt County, the DeWitt County Emergency Telephone System Board and the Central Communication Board to distribute employment costs related to the 9‑1‑1 Systems Manager/CenCom Supervisor position. Both motions carried unanimously.
