Elena, the library director, reported staffing changes and short-term staffing plans. She said the library lost a full-time employee to the city's IT department and that a part-time outreach and marketing specialist retired. "The foundation set aside 13,500, which helps support 2 short term workers, 1 adult aid, and 1 youth library aid," she told the board, citing support that initially ran from late April to mid-August.
