Draft feasibility study recommends downtown hotel–convention public–private partnership

A draft CSL International feasibility study presented to the steering committee found a downtown hotel-plus-convention center at the Edgewater property is more financially feasible than expanding the existing McNeese Convention Center; CSL will present final findings to city council in the fall (target Sept–Oct).
