During the budget workshop, staff clarified the account label for the county's volunteer-fire program (referred to in presentation as ATL) and updated the FY26 proposed allocation to the most recent amount the county has received.
Esther said the county received a payment in December 2024 and adjusted the proposed FY26 amount accordingly. "So we received that fund back in December 2024," she said, and the recommended FY26 figure presented to the board reflected that amount. Board members confirmed they could find the relabeled line in the packet and asked staff to ensure the same account name appears in the consolidated budget and the legal-advertisement text.
Board action: members asked staff to reconcile account naming across materials and include the updated amount in the advertisement for the public hearing.
