Board approves variance for large detached structure incorporating Conex containers after applicant’s barn fire
The board granted a variance to Ryan Stover to build a 40'x50' detached structure up to 17' tall using sided Conex shipping containers after his barn burned in December. Stover said the containers will better protect tools and equipment in the event of future fire.

The Preble County Board of Zoning Appeals on March 24 approved a variance allowing Ryan J. Stover to construct a 40'x50' detached structure, 17 feet high, using Conex shipping containers incorporated and sided to resemble a barn on Lot #4, Mahaffy Subdivision.
