Board refines communication protocol and sets limits for administrative presentations
Summary

Board members reviewed the existing Board of Education communication protocols and made minor revisions. Members agreed to post a simpler communications-protocol document on the district website and discussed possibly adding a clear description of Board roles for public reference; President Childs shared a "Board Member 101" training document with trustees.
Trustees also discussed a common template for administrative presentations, asking staff to focus on strategic-plan goal areas, show historical vs. current data, include photos or event highlights when helpful, and limit presentations to about 10–15 minutes. Superintendent Erfourth will convey the feedback to administrators so they can implement a standard template.
