Covert board accepts two resignations and posts maintenance position
The board approved resignations effective June 30, 2026 for Jorge Lorenzo (At-Risk Interventionist) and Matt Hansen (Virtual Lab Coordinator and coach), and approved posting a maintenance position. All motions passed by unanimous roll-call votes.

The Covert Public Schools Board accepted the resignation of Jorge Lorenzo, At-Risk Interventionist, effective June 30, 2026. The board also accepted the resignation of Matt Hansen, who served as Virtual Lab Coordinator and as a coach for basketball and middle school track, also effective June 30, 2026.
