At the May 18 meeting the Ashley Community Schools board approved the METS contract for the 2026–27 school year.
During the district discussion portion of the agenda, Mrs. Gavenda reported that the METS contract had increased its fee to 29.75%, a 0.25 percentage‑point rise. The approval motion was made by Anmarie Bradley Dodd and seconded by Trent Yelsik and carried on a recorded roll call.
