On May 14 the board approved a set of NEOLA policy updates on second reading, covering personnel ethics, online/blended learning (Po 2370.01), comprehensive school health (Po 2417), sex education (Po 2418), volunteers (Po 3120.09, 4120.09, 8120.09), staff ethics (Po 4210 and 1410), wireless communication devices (Po 5136), purchasing (Po 6320), federal procurement (Po 6325), artificial intelligence (Po 7540.09), the emergency operations plan (Po 8402), and specialized transportation for students with IEPs (Po 8655). Motions to approve each policy were made, primarily by Amy Lark and supported by Matt Bennett or Steve Duane, and all were recorded as passing unanimously (6-0).
