Superintendent Leasa Griffith‑Mathews told the board that elementary schoolwide achievement increased from fall to winter: math rose from 49.5% to 60% and reading from 43.8% to 55.7%. She said 82.1% of elementary students met their reading growth targets and 87.9% met math growth targets.
