Kalkaska County commissioners approved two capital-project RFP awards during the Aug. 20 meeting. The board accepted Cook Sheet Metals RFP for HVAC work with the condition that the work agreement be approved as to form by county counsel. Separately, the board accepted ROCO Roofings bid for Dispatch/DHD roof replacement at $31,000 with an alternate price of $65 per sheet for replacement and an additional $350 to add a water diverter.
