The board voted to approve three resolutions related to regional transportation and mental-health policy. Commissioner David Comai moved to approve Resolution 2025-19, which opposes a competitive procurement process for MDHHS PHIPs and the privatization of mental-health program administration. The board also approved Resolutions 2025-21 and 2025-22 supporting Amtrak passenger service from Grand Rapids and Flint to Mackinaw City.
