Board accepts VA Board appointment, withdraws FY2026 grant application

Veterans Counselor Melanie Pauch informed the committee of a vacancy on the Veterans Affairs Board and recommended appointing Steven Bloomfield to complete the remainder of Lana King's term. The committee accepted the appointment by consensus following a motion from Commissioner Jeff Sieting and support from Commissioner David Comai.
