The board adopted Resolution #26-044 to declare multiple Motorola 2500 radios surplus for the Sheriff’s Office (some listed as out of service, others listed as lost) and designated a 2014 Chevy Tahoe (VIN ending 217791) surplus. The board also approved Resolution #26-046 to dispose of specified equipment and record auction sales: a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria sold for $1,500, a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria sold for $700, a 2001 Ford Explorer sold for $1,800, a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 sold for $4,200, a 2015 Ford Explorer sold for $1,500 and a 2006 Winnebago sold for $9,100. One 2018 Dodge Charger was recorded as totaled.
Motions for both the surplus declaration and disposal were made and passed unanimously. The minutes list serial numbers and VIN endings for the surplus items and the auction proceeds where applicable; the actions allow the Sheriff’s Office to remove decommissioned equipment from inventory and record proceeds.
