The Comanche County Board of Commissioners voted March 9 to approve a county burn ban resolution declaring an "extreme fire danger" across Comanche County, effective immediately for 14 days with the possibility of week-to-week extensions. Commissioner Josh Powers moved the resolution; Commissioner Ryan John seconded and the motion passed with Powers, John and Chairman Johnny Owens voting aye.
