Hanover County Council on Aging meets as information session after no quorum

"There was not a quorum present so the meeting would serve as an information session and not an official meeting," Cornelius said after calling the meeting to order at 3:06 p.m. The group agreed to record the session because no volunteer was available to scribe minutes.
Although the meeting could not take formal actions, members used the time to discuss the 2026 slate of officers, upcoming events, volunteer sign-ups and program planning. The council set the next meeting for Monday, July 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
