The board voted to designate Tosanak Recreation Area as a Deer Management Zone for 2026 and to have conservation staff retain control of the hunt. Jesse Frerichs moved to proceed with securing tags for a deer archery hunt at Tosanak; Peter Kloberdanz seconded the motion and it passed unanimously, 5-0.
