BOCC approves elevator battery replacement and vandal‑resistant buttons for courthouse

Commissioner Jason Shanks reported Allied Elevator Services’ inspection and relayed the company’s recommendation to replace the elevator control buttons and the backup battery. Shanks said he did not have sufficient technical knowledge to fully assess the recommendation, so he presented the company's advice to the board.
