The Board of County Commissioners of Kay County met April 20, 2026, in Newkirk and approved a slate of routine actions, including the minutes from April 13, 2026, payroll and maintenance claims, and several departmental reports. Chairman Jeff Kreger presided; the motion to approve the regular meeting minutes was made by Commissioner Shane Jones and seconded by Commissioner Jason Shanks and carried unanimously.
