An administrative evaluation recommended returning to a unified Community Development model to improve coordination between planning & zoning, building, and soil erosion services. The board approved the proposed structure, which phases the Community Development Director split 60% planning & zoning (General Fund) and 40% building & soil erosion (Building Fund), and authorized recruitment for the Planner/Zoning Administrator position.
