The Vernon County Commission voted unanimously July 9 to accept a bid from Community National Bank for county banking, payment collection, investment services and data transmission. Commissioner Cindy Thompson moved to accept Community National Bank's bid; Commissioner John Shorten seconded, and "all voted yes to approve," according to the meeting minutes.
