Lilly Martin, elementary principal for Tonasket School District, reported at the Sept. 25 board meeting that the elementary school has begun iReady and individualized testing to establish students' reading levels and form intervention groups. She told the board that each classroom is scheduled to visit the school garden twice per season and that the school recently completed its annual cookie-dough fundraiser; the minutes also note this month is PTO appreciation month.
