Extension staff told commissioners they were key collaborators and planners for the county's inaugural Local Foods Conference and that the Agriculture & Natural Resources team secured a SARE Youth Educator grant of $6,000. Leeoria Willis (ANR Educator) said the grant will fund horticulture programming expansion to ten additional schools and after‑school learning sites.
