Cherokee County commissioners approved an interagency agreement on Dec. 20 to use $200,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for planning commission and zoning work. Commissioner Cory Moates moved for approval and Commissioner Lorie Johnson seconded; the motion carried 2-1 with Commissioner Myra Frazier opposing the measure.
