Hearing set on proposed Lenz Ditch assessment changes in Ottawa County
The Board accepted the County Engineer's proposed changes to the Lenz Ditch assessment base and scheduled a hearing for May 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the County Emergency Operations Center; an alternate hearing is set for Aug. 6 with later effective dates if changes are adopted then.

The Board of Ottawa County Commissioners accepted the County Engineer's recommendation to revise the permanent assessment base for the Lenz Ditch and set a public hearing on the proposed changes for May 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Emergency Operations Center at the Ottawa County Courthouse, 315 Madison Street, Port Clinton. The Board set the changes to be effective June 5, 2026 if adopted at that hearing.
